Founded in 2014 by Emily Brown, Food Equality Initiative (FEI) is the nation’s leading organization working To improve health and end hunger in individuals diagnosed with food allergies and celiac disease through access to safe and healthy food, nutrition education, and advocacy.
Elijah-Alavi Foundation
The Elijah-Alavi Foundation is Elijah’s Echo, an initiative designed to raise awareness on the severity of food allergies and anaphylaxis as well as the importance of education and training. The organization was founded by the parents of Elijah-Alavi after his passing due to being given a grilled cheese by his daycare despite having a known severe dairy allergen. Through his parent’s efforts, Elijah’s law was passed in New York to improve child safety in educational centers.
